Fire Extinguishers

Fire extinguishers are often the first line of defence in the fight against fires. If you ever need to use them, you need to make sure they are in full working order so they can work to full effect.

Proper maintenance of your fire extinguishers is a legal requirement, and in the long run it will save you money from having to replace your fire extinguishers as often.

We highly pride ourselves on the quality of our service to each and every customer we serve. We will never ask customers to sign binding contracts, as this goes against our ethos as a company. We do not pay our employees on commission like a lot of our competitors, so we are completely committed to fulfilling your fire protection needs from day one.

Types of Fire Extinguisher

Below is a picture chart showing the right extinguishers that should be used on each type of fire.

All fire extinguishers have the following features:

Kite marked: BSEN3
Spraying nozzle
Squeeze grip
Protective plastic base
Corrosion resistant finish
Complete with bracket
Complete with bracket
Foam Spray
Dry Powder
CO2
Water

We offer 2 service plans for extinguishers:

Low cost service where the customers pay for any repairs or periodic costs.

Higher service cost-per-extinguisher, including standard spares. (Doesn’t include periodic discharge testing, re-fills of used extinguishers or any damage replacements).

The main advantage of plan 2 above is that it allows you to much more accurately budget for your annual service.

Legal Requirements

As required by the Regulatory Reform ORder of 2005, all commercial premises must contain the correct fire protection equipment, to ensure the safety of the public.

Fire risk assesments are required to establish the need for fire protection equipment, such as fire extinguishers and fire alarms.
